Installing IntriG Wainscot
Installing is as simple as installing any other type of basic wall panelling.
A basic 15 foot wall (2 wainscot sections) with 2 receptacles could take as little as an hour to install.
- First, pre-fit sections and measure for final trimming
- Trim ends and cutouts for windows, vents, etc.
- Screw or nail sections to the prepared wall where studs are located
- Fill as needed and lightly sand
- Apply desired finish coat
- Enjoy for years to come!
IntriG Wainscot is shipped pre-primed and includes:
- Approximately 1/2” extra material on the end of each section that meets a corner
- Tongue-in-groove edges that connect multiple sections in a run
- Reverse molding to use where needed for receptacles, ducts and other minor obstructions
- Unique, detailed Installation Instructions
- Part Labels on reverse side of each section
- Cap and Cap Mold
