Chicago Wainscoting by IntriG made a big splash and enjoyed a very successful networking opportunity and "photo op." Thanks goes out to Larry Paddock, Debby and the crew at Signature Mural and Finish and our friends at The Decorator's Supply for helping create a remarkable display of the potential of the wainscot product.

This ASID event was well-attended at the famous Merchandise Mart Design Center in downtown Chicago, drawing 200 plus designers, students in design and others from the industry together from around the city and neighboring states as well. "Our focus was to give Designers a venue where they could experience first-hand, the exciting potential of our custom wainscoting product.

We created unique panel designs and incorporated our new applied molding features, decorative ornamental appliques and then let Signature go crazy. The reaction was great and, I believe, caused many to rethink wainscoting, the traditional wall covering technique."

One point that seemed to come up over and over was: "...so, this product won't ever separate?" One of the many benefits of this manufacturing technique is that, because it is carved on 4' x 8' sheets of stable, high density fiberboard, there are never separations around the interior raised panel or where stick and panel wainscot expands.

Many were very impressed with the sharp corners, "...I'm really impressed, not what I've seen in other CNC panels." State-of-the-art programming and tooling enables IntriG to create detail and unique designs not commonly found.
