Q -Doesn’t it take a master craftsman to install wainscot?A -
Traditional “stick” wainscoting does require a highly skilled woodworker to create and install. IntriG Wainscot is different. Because we supply seamless sections up to 8’ wide, a moderately skilled installer with basic tools can finish the job and look like a pro!
-
Q -What do you do for outside corners?A -
IntriG provides extra length on both pieces for these corners. It is recommended that you miter and biscuit these corners. Other options and more instructions will be included with the order.
-
Q -How do I handle electrical outlets?A -
Ideally, move them to the bottom-center of a rail or panel, or to the base area. Optionally, the reverse molding that is supplied with all orders can be used for these and other obstructions.
-
Q -Can IntriG Wainscot be fastened directly to the studs or do I have to install drywall?A -
You can absolutely install this product directly to your framing studs and by doing this, you’ll save the cost of the drywall and it's installation.
